CANEBRUSH

A one-bedroom in Brooklyn designed as a kind of domestic exhale—Canebrush is a study in tonal restraint and tactile depth. Mid-century silhouettes are paired with soft, contemporary gestures; cane, burl, and brass lend warmth without excess.

Muted violets, clay-washed walls, and sun-worn woods create an atmosphere that’s grounded, textural, and quietly expressive. Sculptural frames and vintage finishes punctuate each space with intention, allowing room for stillness and light.

The result is a layered, lived-in interior that prioritizes feeling over statement—and intimacy over spectacle.
