BRUME

A studio in Koreatown, Brume is named for the haze that softens the city when viewed from above. On the 36th floor, the skyline shifts with the weather and the changing light, often dissolving into atmosphere. Rather than competing with those views, the interior was designed to extend them inward.

Soft neutrals and pale blues draw from the changing light outside the windows, while a restrained mix of natural materials and industrial finishes gives the apartment its balance. The project combines original furniture designed and fabricated by BOGEN.—including the Little Off mirror and custom oak dining table—with vintage pieces and contemporary works.
